We believe that the horses' happiness is the first and most important step towards any success!

SÁNDOR LOVASFARM

Our stable is located in between the towns Gödöllő and Bag. It was founded in 2002 and has been active ever since. We focus on training, sales and showing of showjumping horses. We work devotedly day by day for the welfare of our fellow equine athletes because we believe that the horses’ happiness is the first and most important step towards any success. Besides training we put large emphasis on every aspect of horsemanship like feeding, quality of the footing and the environment. With continuous developments and attention to detail we try to keep up with the rapidly growing sport of showjumping on national and international levels.

BALÁZS SÁNDOR

Balázs started his showjumping carrier over two decades ago in 1996.

In his early days, with his father’s support, he had the chance to learn from some of the greatest Hungarian trainers such as Viktor Sári and Zoltán Rezgő, who laid the foundations of his sport and horsemanship. His talent as a rider took him all around Europe. He had the chance to work at stables like Ludger Beerbaum’s and Paul Schockemöhle’s where he had the chance to further deepen his knowledge about horses.

At only 20 years of age in 2000 he won the “Supercup” of Mezőhegyes with his first Grand Prix level partner Romina (a.k.a Mami). Her retirement inspired Balázs to start breeding horses. Mami gave excellent offspring and to this day at 32 years young she is overlooking the stable’s operations. The most remarkable out of her foals is Dante who competed up 145cm level as a member of Hárskúti Lovasklub’s team.

Another highlight of Balázs’s career was the great gelding Fleron who he brought up all the way from young horse classes to Grand Prix level. Fleron was successful even at the highest levels on the international circuit. Selling him at his peak form allowed Balázs to start and build up Sándor Lovasfarm.

Balázs’s passion for his work and the knowledge he gained during the years in the sport serve as the foundation of the everyday life of our horses.
